I'm taking the SSAT Saturday morning, and I am terrified. I was wondering, for those of you who have taken the test already, what are some examples of essay questions for the writing sample? I know mine won't be the same, but I'd just like to know to get an idea for what it'll be like.
Thanks a ton,
Kate

It usually states an opinion and then asks if you agree or not.
You only need to write about a page. I've only taken two SSATs. The 1st one was "People stay young at heart forever" and the other was something I forgot :)
Goodluck.

Let's see, my older son's was "First impressions count" (You agree/disagree, make a case, cite examples from literature, history, personal experience). My younger son had one last year talking about progress...I don't remember the exact wording. Oh, another one (my younger son took the the test twice)..."Clothes make the man."

Kate13, don't worry i'm terrified too....we can be terrified together. :)
