Hello,
I will take the SSAT in December, and I have done some practice tests but I can't calculate the percentiles for them. Does anyone know what percentiles these scores can get me (I am a girl, 9th grade applying for 10th)?
Verbal: 752
Quantitative: 780
Reading: 722

I got the scaled scores from the princeton review book,so I don't know how accurate they are. Does anyone know how to calculate from raw to scaled scores?

Is this enough to get into HADES if I am appling as an international student and english is my second language?

I’m pretty sure there is a percentile chart in the princeton review book…in an earlier section of the book (not near the sample tests and score chart).

IIRC, there are different percentile charts depending on gender and grade. I am guessing but I think your math score would be in the mid to high 90s (which is great!). Don’t know about the verb or reading, and don’t have the book handy.

FWIW, my daughter took two practice SSATs and her real scores were higher percentiles than the practice.

My scores were very similar to yours, and I got 91, 93, 90 in that order, and 96th overall. I’m a year older than you though so that could change it, either positively or negatively.
I was considering taking the test as a 11th grader as I technically am, but decided to take it as a 10th grader because I’m applying for the 11th and that is my birth year(year ahead in school).
So after I took the test I looked at the scores in the Princeton manual and saw that if I had taken it as an 11th grader my percentages would have been higher. It’s the same test for everyone so that must mean that some years are more competitive than others.
It’s not all that hard, I worried a lot about it but if you practice you’ll be fine. Good luck :)

Choralpatita, what schools are you/did you apply to? Good luck on your application!
I did another practice, and I got higher scores!!! verbal 780, math 793, reading 742. I am taking the test next week, though…(so nervous!)

How did you do on the actual SSAT? I’m just curious because the Princeton Review Practice Test was a lot easier than the real SSAT, at least math wise, and I was wondering if it was just me…sorry, I know this is an old post…and did you get into any of the HADES school? Sorry I just took the SSAT today and I’m really nervous…
