<p>He got his SSAT scores back, and they are pretty bad. His percentages in each section are horrible, but his estimated national percentiles are all in 90s...I don't get it.</p>
<p>Out of the 2400 he scored 2076. </p>
<p>He's retaking, but I'm still very confused. Schools look at the actual percentages, not the national percentiles, right?</p>
<p>right. a 2076 is, no offense, kind of bad. A 50 ish 60 ish.
He should take the December SSATs, and just try again.

i don’t know where he’s applying to but according to boardingschoolreviews.com, he’s applying to some schools with lower average SSAT scores. definitely retaking.
he has wonderful extracurricular and good grades. we’ll see what happens.</p>
