SSATB appears to be a nonprofit organization. Would anyone on the forum have statistics about the volume of the test itself, such as how many test takers there are per "academic testing year" (I think that is how they refer to it)? How many repeats? Average retake per student (to get accurate, discrete student data for aggregate values)? I assume none of this is published by SSATB (for whatever reason), but if anyone has seen some statistics, it could be useful.

Approximately how many students take the SSAT each academic year?
(A) 25,000
(B) 100,000
(C) 250,000
(D) 500,000
(E) Secret

How about per grade? Per gender? How many retakes? Score and retake correlation? Is the test curved by chronological age, or simply by academic "grade" irrespective of age?

The College Board has much of the above answered for the SAT, but I have not yet found anything on this for the SSAT. Could anyone point me in the right direction?
