There honestly isn’t much vocab. Just read a lot for pleasure, difficult books to be specific, to update yourself on the vocab. Also, freerice.com</p>
<p>Do you have an SSAT prep book? I used the Princeton Review and it helped me out on at least 10 clueless ones. In the end I got a 95 percentile on the verbal, and my vocab is not that superb.
Follow your prep guide, and you will learn not only tips, but strategies like matching the connotation and eliminating parts of speech and extraneous words.</p>
