I’m not exactly sure about the Thompson loan. I’ve seen other loans described on the St. Olaf website, but nothing about that particular loan. Maybe someone else will?
I was deferred BTW
I’ll just have to wait until next week to finally know for sure either way.

I am an International still waiting for a decision.

DD received RD acceptance packet today! Via USPS in-state.

^ aargh . . . no mail tomorrow! Why oh why do we live so far away?

So according to the admissions blog, letters were posted on Friday, 11th March.
The waiting is worse at this stage! We know they’ve made a decision but we have to wait a few days to find out!

St Olaf has tried to increase their diversity!
Maybe a little more HOPE!

Accepted!!!
As I’m an international, I received my email about an hour ago!

I have been rejected (T…T) as an international…

congratulation steve136! from what I read from the discussion, you were rejected in ED2, so
you must be very happy to see the acceptance letter.

I got waitlisted (an international). I do not really understand what it means that the decision will be available in May. Kinda weird.

Thank you lemontreecmta!
Yes, I was deferred from ED2, so the extra month I had to wait felt like a very long time.
I’m not exactly sure how the waitlist works, although I assume you have to confirm that you wish to remain on the waitlist. Then, after May 1 (when deposits are due), if there are spaces available, they will be awarded shortly after. Good luck!

Waitlisted… 1320/1970 3.98 GPA. Never expected to get in though.

I got waitlisted too :(
