Stafford loan help?

<p>I will be short this year only due to an error on my parents part and so wouldn't be able to afford fall semester. I deferred to spring semester, now will the total amount of Stafford loans for the year be available to me for the spring so I can cover it no problem? </p>

<p>an example would be say you get 4000 in Stafford loans for the year and it would normally be split between semester A and B. If you did not attend semester A could you then get the full 4000 for semester B.</p>

<p>What kind of error? Does the FAFSA need to be corrected because it was an error that resulted in the wrong (too high) EFC?</p>
