Stafford Loan Lenders -- Difference?

For Columbia, I need to select a lender for my Stafford Loan. I can choose between Student Loan Xpress, Citibank, Nellie Mae, and Access Group, but I don't know what the difference is between each lender.

Are their different benefits that each has to offer?

Have you made a hypotheis on your question?
Did you test the hypotheis?

Realize that the average person spends very little time and effort on researching money but will spend all their time in searching to make money.

you don't currently, live in New York City, do you?

I'm sorry...what? I don't understand you. I live north of NYC...does that make a difference in anything?

I'm just a student and this financial aid stuff is driving me crazy.

hey phantom, I don't think that there is much of a difference between the lenders. The only thing is that each lender has different set of incentives -- for my school I chose a lender who had a 0% origination fee and .25 % repayment reduction with automatic repayment, but some of the other lenders offered .25 -.5 % reductions for repayments.
*** You should call Columbia fin aid office and find out what the difference is between the lenders (for my school the information was included in the fin aid package).
