Hi all! I was just wondering if anyone had any advice about standing out at a community college to make me a good applicant to transfer to a great university! I already know about Phi Theta Kappa and I should start a club, 4.0, all that good stuff but anything else you guys could contribute would be awesome! Also, if anyone has any advice on figuring out what credits will transfer to a university that doesn't have an articulation agreement that would be amazing as well! thanks!

Like I said before, which credits will transfer and which ones won’t is dependent on your major. Additionally, you should try to finish your major reqs first. As for standing out, no magic formula. Just get good grades (particularly in your major gpa) and be a dedicated president of a club, is generally enough for a good school. For a ivy league, you’ll have to do more.

I’d also say do things that reflect your identity/passions, not your major. Having these things on your resume will help with your PS later on, as they add to your story.
