Stanford announced Friday that it has accepted 2,144 students out of 42,487 applications. Does this now make Stanford the most difficult college or university in the world to get into? Any other stats for similar institutions?
I have heard of lower acceptance rates from schools in India and Japan. Not sure the accuracy, but there are better schools out there in India.
