Stanford Admission Officers

How many of them are there?

And how many of them read essays? Do like... a group of 10 read all 20,000 essays?

Two readers look at each application and then it goes before committee (that is what they told us during Admit Weekend).

two readers read all twenty thousand essays? wow.

There are more than two readers (I have no idea how many) but only two readers per application. I believe they divide it up geographically, so all the applications in our area are read by the same two readers.

Did you get accepted? =) Can we talk elsewhere? I feel this is too slow and you have viable information.

Looks like someone just bailed on me ahaha =)

My son was admitted early action last year and just finished his first quarter at Stanford.

What do you need to know?

Oh just that whoever reads my essay thing..

Thanks... so yeah.. people in different states would have a reader ...

Do you know what he put in the "Additional Info" section for the Common APp?
