Hahahaha sempitern

Wonder if there is a confidentiality clause...

Hahahaha sempitern

Wonder if there is a confidentiality clause...

got rejected by MIT, will probably get kicked out by stanford and caltech too.

They're in the midst of sending out letters already. At least that's what my letter told me...GL everyone.

SpeedyPenguin, huh? i thought they start mailing on Mar 29...

Ok.. so from Stanford to here Mill Valley it usually takes 1 day for the transit....................................................... March 30 for me then. faints

whew, ok so i'm going to set my countdown from april 1st then :)

so we have rougly [9] days until the decision letters are mailed

Sorry, misunderstanding. They're preparing the letters already...It takes a while to stuff 16000 envelopes. :)

yeah i got my SCEA re-congrats...and it did in fact say that they were sending out letters...soon

so they send out congratulations and then all the info

Do they send e-mails, or are the decisions sent entirely by post?

I believe the decision notifications come in the mail...

Ok, I just need to remain patient until then.

stanford, like pton does its decisions solely by mail

What happens if the admission office got bombed or it flooded in Stanford and all apps were lost?!?!?!?!?! (I need a psy counseling. lol)

ha ha, or even worse would be if there was a mixup and they sent the wrong letters to the wrong people

To someone - when did you get your SCEA congradulations? Was it a call or a letter?

it seems kinda trippy that it's all coming back so soon.. april used to be so far away.

i don't think i'll be crushed if i don't get in, but i think i'll be a little upset. anyone think they'll be absolutely devastated?

I thought that I wanted to know...now I am not so sure;)

I love Stanford, and if I get in, it is my first choice, hands down. That said, I don't think I will be lucky enough, especially after seeing all of these incredible applicants on this site.

Yes, I will be upset because it will be the end of a dream since I have had since a little girl, but I don't think I will be surprised. I know that I did the best job that I could possibly do, both in high school and life as a whole and on my application as well, so it is out of my hands now, with no regrets.......
Here's hoping for that thick envelope!!

Lurkin'girl: I've never seen someone with such an incredibly positive attitude. Hopefully thick envelopes are in store for most of us...

Thanks, eiffelguy!

I really am serious....most of us have done everything in our power to get into Stanford or where ever. I know that I could not go back and do anything "better" than I did. I simply did my best, and now whatever happens, happens.

That said....I get a stomach ache everytime I think of next week and the mail arriving!! :)
