Stanford and SAT

My SAT score is in the high 1900's, I'm korean, and my GPA and extracurriculars are decent. Is there anyone that got into Stanford with the same statistics as me? :T Or am I entirely hopeless because of my SAT score?

That will decrease your chance of enrollment. But I don’t think you are completely hopeless, may be they will consider your activities and specialities. I have also applied for Stanford. So, good luck.

There was this guy who got in with a score in the 1700s. Non-URM btw.

But what was his ACT?

^^ you could try taking the ACT. but i’d say that unless you have a very convincing specialty that’ll ‘hook’ the admission’s committee, i’d say that you’re chances would be pretty slim.

What did you get in each section? If you got a lower CR/W score, I’d suggest taking TOEFL just in case.

I got
Cr: 580 (it stayed 580 for all 3 tests
W: 670
Math: 730

My scores are low I know anyone have any advice to help me out with Stanford?

If your CR and WR scores are reversed then it would be a little bit better
are you applying from korea or are you domestic?

Im applying to Stanford with a score of 2070, which is also on the low side, but im still going to try, good luck~

Good luck all! :)

You should find some other schools you really like. Your chances at Stanford are slim to none.

Take the ACT. I found the CR section there to be a lot easier.

i agree
