Stanford Arts Supplement Question

Hey guys. I came across this note on Stanford's Art Supplement Guidelines. It says:

"If you work is a website, do not submit the link or HTML
code. Instead make a video that demonstrates the operation of the site."

I'm a web developer, and have work on a bunch of showcase (Artistic, and aesthetically designed) website. Does this mean I can submit videos of the website? What does Stanford mean by 'website'? Do they mean like a landing page for dance/music/art students to link to their work? Or do they mean an actual website that people use?

Here's an image of the note: <a href="http://imgur.com/Gli8vlK">http://imgur.com/Gli8vlK</a></p>

I think an actual website. I would use some kind of screen capturing video recorder so you can demonstrate exactly what your work does and why it’s impressive.
