pm me if you want a link to the pic i used in my stanford essay, or the essays for that matter

i've wanted to go to stanford for so long...april 1...

please get involved in stuff like amc and olympiads early unlike me who was an idiot and waited till last minute...i feel like i'm gonna be very close but in the end not make it...

also #1 (2400),#7 (1600+750w) in SCEA at my hs, #2,#4,#6 rejected, #9 deferred (1600+760w)

treewannabe, are you the guy in that one picture on the skateboard? or maybe that was someone else.

haha yeah...
...

Haha. I think you have a really really strong shot for Stanford. Good luck.

i find it funny to be randomly recognized on cc as "that guy in that one picture"...ahh truly i have made something of my life

Well, I wouldn't label you as "that guy in that one picture" unless I knew your name (which I don't know).

like that will persuade people...

haha i think i posted on the wrong thread...whoops

yeah i figured it was worth a try...my friend at school who got into stanford SCEA rescinded all his apps to places like penn etc. cause he knew he wasn't going

You should've applied SCEA for Stanford. I don't see why not.

early year = super busy for me

it's marching band and xc season and i still had to take the new sat, also i think my midyear grades will help b/c i should have a 4.0 in 6 ap's + 2 music classes

Oh, I see. Well, either way, you have a really good chance.

you apply to stanford?

I'm a junior. One more year of suffering.

in my opinion...even tho i took 5 ap tests last year...senior year is way harder...you become a leader in everything and ppl depend on you to be everywhere/do everything plus the stress of apps and extra work of essays...sure it's rewarding but also exhausting (i'm randomly on cc right now at 2AM and have to get up for jazz band at 5:30AM)

Yeah, you're the 3253423rd senior to say how senior year is harder than junior year... whoever said that senior year was easy - whatever.

It's 2 AM for me as well, and I have to get up at 6:30 AM for school. I play in an orchestra, but that is outside of school.

Oh wow, treewannabe... if you don't get into Stanford, WHO DOES???

Wow, I'm amazed. runs into the corner and feels inferior :D

i just took an sat II (subject testing) for bio e/m. can someone please tell me how many sat II's i need to submit to say berkeley? also, what would be a 'good' score for that school. i would love to get in!
