<p>Please tell me your honest opinions about my chances of getting into Stanford. I applied REA and am now waiting to hear back! </p>

-Taught at a soccer clinic for younger kids

-Started my own recycling company because my small city does not offer recycling service and I was so successful that the city asked me to help them develop a program (if you can't beat them join them!)
-Featured on the local news for my recycling efforts
-Worked at a local Jewish Federation (filing and organizational work)
-Master SCUBA diver
-Very Well Traveled
-Mastermind/driver behind the locally infamous Pirates o' Penn Ave float for rivalry football game.</p>

Excellent (I'm taking the hardest classes my school offers) </p>

Amazing! </p>

<p>Outside Rec:
From the former Governor (also my mentor and close friend)
great letter! </p>

<p>Essays:
I feel they were very good (I recently saw that I used the British spelling of some words by accident. Oh Well!)</p>

certainly you are well qualified
but then again so are hundreds of people who get rejection/deferal emails :&lt;/p>

<p>p.s. i think its kinda stupid that you have a 3-year limit on class president when theres only 4 years…</p>

<p>Yeah, I’m pretty sure the fact that you’re a HUGE URM (Under Represented Minority) will help you. And the former governor rec letter helps you, though I’m sure Stanford gets loads of those.</p>

<p>For example, there’s someone I know who had Obama write him a recommendation letter. Connections :]</p>

<p>And for the record, I still hate chance threads. Nothing we say matters to the admissions officers, so I see no point.</p>

at this point, after u have applied, the chance thread doesnt have any value for ur stanford app
but, regardless of how little we know, the opinions of others could be helpful in planning whether you want to apply to more colleges, more safeties, etc.</p>
