Course Rigor:
Excellent (I'm taking the hardest classes my school offers)

Teacher Recs:
Amazing!

Outside Rec:
From the former Governor (also my mentor and close friend)
great letter!

Essays:
I feel they were very good (I recently saw that I used the British spelling of some words by accident. Oh Well!)

all i can say is you will be very competitive
certainly you are well qualified
but then again so are hundreds of people who get rejection/deferal emails :</p>

p.s. i think its kinda stupid that you have a 3-year limit on class president when theres only 4 years…

me too. especially having someone new start for senior year. And Thank you! I’m leaving it up to chance now.

Native American with great stats and ECs? You are most likely in.

only half NA

If you checked the NA box, then I think it still counts. Good Luck!

Yeah, I’m pretty sure the fact that you’re a HUGE URM (Under Represented Minority) will help you. And the former governor rec letter helps you, though I’m sure Stanford gets loads of those.

For example, there’s someone I know who had Obama write him a recommendation letter. Connections :]

And for the record, I still hate chance threads. Nothing we say matters to the admissions officers, so I see no point.

i partially agree
at this point, after u have applied, the chance thread doesnt have any value for ur stanford app
but, regardless of how little we know, the opinions of others could be helpful in planning whether you want to apply to more colleges, more safeties, etc.
