Stanford Email

i got this email from:

Shawn L. Abbott, Director of Admission
Kris McGinty, Credentials Manager

titled: Stanford Application Missing Credentials

and it basically says that im missing a teacher evaluation and that i should fax it as soon as possible

so after i get the rec letter my teacher wrote for me (im pretty sure i know whose rec im missing), do i need to fill out the commonapp form for a teacher rec again and send the whole thing in? or do i just send the actual rec letter itself?

Go ask the teacher to make another copy and send. Make sure you provide the teacher with a self-stamped envelope. But it's best to call Stanford to ask which teacher that you are missing the letter of recommendation from.

You should ask your teacher to fax it to Stanford ASAP.

We called Stanford about a similar situation and they said Stanford wants to receive the common app teacher evaluation form from the teacher even if the teacher already sent a rec letter.

I think common application teacher evaluation is the same as letter of recommendation from a teacher.

yea i think theyre the same thing too

i really dont know whats going on, because i asked my teacher about it a couple days before the deadline and she told me she was planning to send it out the DAY OF the deadline (nov1) because apparently she had other deadlines ahead of it (oct30, oct31, etc.)

i dont think she forgot to send it out or anything but then the only possible explanations for this problem is that either it got lost in the mail or stanford just hasnt gotten it yet, but im going to see if i can fax a copy asap
