I've heard a lot of mixed thoughts about students receiving credit for online classes taken through Stanford's EPGY program. According to an admissions worker for EPGY, many universities accept the credit. However, according to many threads I've seen on cc about the program say it is very unimpressive and colleges won't look at it twice. Has anyone had any experience receiving (or not receiving) credit for these courses? From which colleges?
Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you!

I didn’t receive credit at Wash U. WUSTL is stubborn in that they won’t accept online courses for credit, nor will they accept from programs where the majority of students are high schoolers.

That said, I thought the course I took was worthwhile and something decent to add to my transcript.
I took Linear Algebra for what it’s worth.

As for a guess, I’d say it really depends on the tier of college.

You can try calling Stanford to see if it accepts EPGY credit for the university level courses as equivalent to the normal Stanford courses for students who eventually enroll as regular students at Stanford.
