can anyone suggest any post-grad engineering programs that resemble Stanford MS&E? i've dug through the course listing of Stanford's program and it looks nothing like any other masters program. it seems to me a lot like a pseudo-MBA program with an engineering stamp of approval. the courses that i find the most intriguiging -- and the ones i would take if i were to enter the program -- fall under policy/strategy and entrepreneurial strategy/venture formation -- two topics that don't normally fall under the umbrella of post-grad engineering. most of the programs that i have seen around the states that are management/business oriented are more like financial engineering (i'd like to take some background classes in finance, but not specialize in it) or operations/industrial engineering (things like supply chain management that i'm not particularly interested in). can anyone else throw out any ideas?

why i'm interested: i'm currently studying an engineering field with more of a technical spin, but have decided to opt towards a more management consulting direction and abandon any pursuits for working at a technical engineering field. i'm considering taking a master's to create a more attractive resume towards strategy firms. basically, i'm positioning myself to launch into industry as far up the food chain that i can get.
