Hi,

I've been accepted into Stanford MS&E and Berkeley MIMS. I know both programs are good and I am unable to make up my mind about which one to accept. Both programs seem to be very similar. Anybody with a similar dilemma? Can anybody please tell me the differences between the programs? Both seem very flexible in terms of the courses you can take.

Regards,

uh. stanford. better rep and better job placement

Go to [University of California, Berkeley](http://www.stanfordrejects.com) lol

STANFORD! dont be dumb. only a few people ever get this opportunity to go there. you wont regret it. in 10-20 years stanford will be known as the number one university in America. better than Harvard and the rest.

Congratulations datecake!

Personally I think MS&E @ Stanford is better than MIMS @ Berkeley. But, I don’t think Stanford >> Berkeley for all programs. IMHO, both are equally prestigious for graduate studies.

Madhukar, why do you think opting for Berkeley would be dumb?

BTW, Harvard endowment is $26B and Stanford’s is $12B.

Oh crap.

I meant to say,

go to s t a n f o r d r e j e c t s . c o m

Was trying to be sarcastic

endowment doesn’t mean everything. and i said in a few years. mark my works :P

and sorrry. i didn’t mean to say going to Berkley would be dumb. but it would be dumb to not go to Stanford after you got in. its an awesome school.

also, please take into consideration that Stanford is the most boring campus I have ever visited. This usually doesn’t matter to most people, esp on cc, (It does to me) but just throwing it in there!
