Stanford OHS Applications

I’m a sophomore in high school right now and looking to apply for Stanford OHS for my junior year. I’m planning to take one course, multivariable calculus for my junior year, but I’m not sure how hard it is to get in. I didn’t do well on the PSAT, I got a total of 1320 with a 730 on math and a 590 on reading. I took the SAT Subject Test Math Level 2, and didn’t do so well either, getting a 760(I don’t do very well on tests). Here are my grades-
–Freshman year–
English 9- A-, A- (first semester, second semester)
Honors Precalculus- B, A-
World Geography- A
Accelerated Biology- B, A-
French 1- A+, A
Wind Ensemble- A+, A+
–Sophomore Year–
English 10- A-
AP Calculus AB- B
AP Statistics- B-
AP World History- B+
Honors Chemistry- A-
French 2- A-
Wind Ensemble- A+
I’m planning to take AP Calculus C at JHU CTY, French 3, and Honors Physics over the summer.

I just do a couple extracurriculars, 2 years for the marching band and 2 years for the robotics team.

Do you think I would have a chance in getting into this program with my grades and test scores? I know the application is pretty competitive and everyone who applies are super smart. I’m really hoping to take multivariable calculus next year because I’ve basically run out of math courses at my school.

Thanks!

It’s too early to tell, and it will be a reach no matter what. It seems like you have a lot of Bs, and I’m sure they’ve impacted your gpa. You still have time to study for the sat or act, but colleges won’t care if you’re not a good test taker. Your ECs also look pretty normal, but again, you still have time to devote yourself to meaningful ECs.
