I just received a letter in the mail regarding the Parent Club. I think its a nice program but I was wondering if they are the only place where Parents can order b-day cakes etc for their kids. I find the prices quiet steep but I would like to make sure that when its his birthday there is something there for him.

Thanks

I’ve ordered b-day cakes for my daughter two years in a row from the Parent Club and she loved them. She did take a picture of the cake her freshman year and it was beautiful - 8" chocolate cake, chocolate ganache frosting, with two chocolate dipped strawberries on top. The Parent Club definitely uses a quality bakery for their cakes. One thing to put into consideration is that their price does include delivery. There are a few bakeries in the Palo Alto area, so you may want to do a search, see what they offer, if they deliver and how much.

Hope this helps!! :-)

That is good to know. I will have to keep in mind the whole delivery charge thing. One more questions. Do they supply forks, a knife to cut the cake and plates?

My niece goes to ND and they are pricey too but my sister mentioned that they supply everything so that they can have a lil’ bday party. So in the end its worth it.

Thanks for your help.

I’m almost positive the cake came with at least plates and forks. You can definitely check with the Parents Club before ordering. Also, students are allowed to borrow utensils from the dining hall (at least my daughter’s dining hall, Ricker, allowed it).

Take care!!
