Stanford Summer College or Volunteering/Getting a Job?

I just received a letter in the mail today from Stanford inviting me to their Summer College program. The cost is at least a few thousand dollars for each course. I was wondering how prestigious this program is and if it would be worth it to attend instead of volunteering at my library or getting a job at my local tennis shop (I play tennis). I know that it just shows that you have money and can do college-level work, which can also be shown by taking some APs, but I'm not sure if it would be worth it to go and take some courses at Stanford for 8 weeks. Which would be more beneficial? I'm also inevitably going to ask which one would look better on a college application.

Thank you!

Also, if it makes any difference, I want to go into STEM, but I’m more interested in math and the sciences.

The job. Honestly. the Summer College is just to make more money.

I should also mention that I’m a sophomore, so I’ll also need to be studying for my SATs.

Get the job, volunteer and study for the SAT. Employment also looks good on college apps.

Alright, thanks for the advice!
