Hello everyone. It’s been a while since I’ve posted something on this site. I am blessed to have received an invitation for an interview from Stanford for the SSCCP program and today, I got an email that I was accepted for the SHPEP program sites in UWashington and UCLA, but I have to choose one. I am very honored and extremely happy for these opportunities. I know these are two competitive programs and only select students are invited to participate. For Stanford, only 20 students from community colleges in the SF Bay Area are allowed to participate. SHPEP is a national program that have sites all over the country and the alumni have gone off to successful programs in medicine. Which program should I consider? I still have to interview for Stanford so it’s not certain that I’ll get in yet but I have a high chance. Thanks everyone! Appreciate the feedback. If anyone has done these programs, please lmk how they were!!
