stanford teacher recommendation/application

Does Stanford require one recommendation from science/math teacher and one recommendation from humanities teacher (or can they both be from science/math). I know MIT does, but i dont know about Stanford.

Also, it seems like the stanford website is down or something, but do they use the common applicaiton? Or some other type of application.

Thanks

Check out this site, and look at the announcements

Undergraduate Admission : Stanford University

Ok let me clarify, im only a junior.

I applied to RSI this year and I read my teacher recs after i sent out the application. They were very good recommendations in my opinion, but they were both science/math (as required by RSI).

They both said that they would write me recs next year (and probably fill out all the top 1% or atleast top 5% bubbles) However, Im worried that I have to get a humanities recommendation, and although I have an A in APUSH and AP English Lit, in no way do as participate or am as good at doing tests/writing acitiveds in those subjects than in any math or science class

So thats why Im just wondeirng....anyone thats gotten in or applied know (cmon i know theres plenty)

Unless the school states there needs to be a humanities requirement, you can assume you can submit teacher recs from any academic subject (like some schools list out what subjects you can choose from -- i.e. math, science, history -- concert band teacher doesn't count).

I submitted my math and physics teacher recs to show my strengths in the science areas (I also used the same teachers for my UC Berk internship app last year and got in :] ). The only time I recall schools requiring a science/math teacher rec are for special programs, such as med programs or accelerated science programs or something.

Hope this helps!

"FRESHMAN: Give the Teacher Evaluation to two teachers to
submit by the appropriate deadline. Stanford requests that
you submit two, and no more than two, teacher evaluations
from teachers who have taught you in grades 11 and/or
12 in two different subject areas from among the following:
English, mathematics, science, foreign language, and
history/ social studies."

thanks

and i have one more question, this may sound kind of stupid..but
what subject area is AP Computer Science? Is that counted as a science (because its not what we typically think of when we think of science)
