On a scale of 1 to 10, what I think your chances are on getting in. I won't be giving tens or ones because there's no way to be 100% sure(10).

Based completely on your stats and ecs only:
UC Berkeley: if your not applying for a major like EECS, then a 6.5
UC San Diego: 7.5
UC Los Angeles: 6.5
UC Riverside: 8/9
USC: 6.5/7
Stanford: 4 (I personally think Stanford's really subjective and it's impossible to tell)
Brown: 3/4
University of Pennsylvania:3/4(if your not applying to Wharton)
Johns Hopkins: 5
Carnegie Mellon:5/6

I don't really know that much about college admissions and so I'm only giving the numbers based off what I've read and seen happen with students at my school. I don't know much about minorities and I'm not sure if being Filipino will help you, but if it does I would bump up all of those numbers by 1.

I think with good essays and maybe a few interviews to give a better sense of your character, you have a shot at all of these. The Ivies are kinda low because those are reaches for everyone.

I hope this helps. Great job on your SATs btw. Volunteer some more this summer or get a job during the school year. I hope you have an awesome senior year and good luck with applications!

Thanks! VintageRose! I'm curious about your scale, though. I like to think of numbers in percents. What's a 3/4 constitute in a percentage?

You probably already know this but raise your SAT Subject Tests and it will help you a lot.

Thanks! That's number one on my list, is raise those up or take different ones and get higher scores.

Hey about the Youth Forum on Medicine, are you doing that this month at UCLA?

Hey! I actually did that in 2007 in DC.

Ah, I see.That's cool.

I thought so :)

Anyone else? Chance me? Please :(

How do you stand out from 34000 other applicants?

Hello, are you in college now? if so, which one.
