Stanford's Social Science and Humanities

Hi all, I'm going to study at Stanford this fall.I have a firm determination to major in a branch of social sciences--political science, history,or philosophy. From USNEWS graduate school ranking,it seems that Stanford is the top two in almost every field, far superior to Yale and Princeton(just a mere fact,no intention to offend anyone). But I understand that undergraduate school quality is not always directly proportional to graduate schools' quality. From reading this board,it seems that Yale and Princeton is held in higher regard in terms of huminities departments' quality than Stanford. After all,I just want an assurance that my university is great, hehe :)
Here's what I want to know:
Is Stanford's department of humanities and social sciences top-notch?Comparable in reputation to its unbeatable engineering and com-sci?

Political science and economics are definitely top-three programs. Polisci is renowned for excellent undergraduate teaching especially. According to a psych professor, Stanford has been #1 in that for about forever. Sociology seems like a very strong program.

In US NEWS graduate school ranking,
Stanford is #1 in psycology (Yale and Princeton not in top 3),
top 5 in English (Yale ranks higher, Princeton about equal)
#5 in social science (higher than Princeton and Yale)
#3 in economics (tied with Princeton, Yale is not in top 6)
#2 in politics (Yale and Princeton not in top 3)
top 5 in history (Yale and Princeton ranks higher)

I have never heard anyone consider Stanford's philosophy department as stronger than Princeton's. This being said, Stanford is known for having a quality undergrad education, and I don't know much about the specific department; i'm just putting your claim in perspective.

I am also interested in social sciences and humanities at Stanford. I am looking at majoring in either Philosophy, Political Science or Economics or perhaps a double major. Does Stanford have an integrated program for the above three fields like Penn which has Philosophy, Politics and Economics or Yale which has Ethics, Politics and Economics?

How is international relations at Stanford?
