Start in Business, end in Politics

Personally, I am trying to eventually get into politics. I love power and every fundamental aspect of it, money is important but definitely secondary.
I was wondering if it would be a good idea to start in business, build myself up financially then head into Politics, is this plausable?

Im a poor white kid in northeast ohio, we get foodstamps etc, I am about to major in business (undergrad) at either

BOS U
BC
TUFTS ( economics here)
Vanderbilt ( same as above)
Cornell
Johns Hopkins ( Econ)
Case
Ohio State

But i want to definitely gain influence as i continue thru life until i eventually reach my goal of World Domination, lol...i am only really half kidding, but yeah...what is some of your advice, on what i should do and where i should go?

well when hitler tried for world domination he almost did it with some kickass speeches(regardless of how wrong they were). Can you give a kickass speech?

You need to have a ton of money to mke it in politics. Funding only goes so far. Lots of people(well 99% of them) resort to funding themselves and there is no limit on how much you can fund yourself. Really upper level positions take a crapload of $$$...

lol yes i actually am very good at speaking, i love being in control of the situation.... INTJ if anyone is familliar w/ socionics and Myers Briggs..........but yeah i understand money is a big issue, and im very passionate about life, i have no fear as far as where im going....but im gonna need alotta money along the way...so yeah cheapseats i agree w/ you

does anyone else have anything to add about the correlation between politics and business, and if my future plans will work?
