started filling out apps

Hey I'm a rising senior and I just started filling out the common app and some supplements. I want to apply to Union's Med program with Albany Medical, Penn States Med program, and Boston Univ's Med program

when i was looking at Boston Us Med prog it seems as if I dont have to apply to the school itself- just the med program
is it the same with the otehr colleges but then that means that if i dont get into the program, i dont even have admission into the school itself??
i think union college has the same thing where on the application you indicate that you want to apply to the med program
just a little confused over the whole thing - i asked about it before in a thread but still a little confusing and i have to start filling the forms out

and anyone know about how to apply to the stony brook scholars for medicine program - is there a box to mark on the stony brook app?

thanks a lot everyone

I was accepted to BU's program last year. You do have to apply to the school itself. The application is due in early December, earlier than the app for regular applicants is due. Both the app for the school and the app for the med program are due at the same time. You can be accepted by just BU, by BU and the program, or rejected from both. Most programs will still consider you an applicant for the school, even if you are not accepted to the program. I know that NW is like that, but I'm not sure if you are applying there or not.

thanks qtpie but i was looking at the bu app this year and it seemed to me as if on the application they just ask u the school or college and the program number and u put down the 7 year med program - is that the only app to fill out or is there one specifically for the med program? thats the supplement btw to common app

bump thissssss
