So a couple of my friends had an intimate conversation about starting a community service "organization" that will dedicates its time solely to community service. We wanted to branch off of school clubs like student council, Key Club, Beta Club, etc. because there were so many restrictions and permissions that one club must go through to carry out the project. My friends were thinking about creating a foundation, which I personally think is extremely ambitious and sorta ludicrous since we have no vision, goal, or purpose.

I just wanted to form an official group, sorta like a mini-organization with just my friends and I as board members and we could carry out everything ourselves with parental assistance (one of my friend has a rich dad who likes to work with charities. He could be a great asset in getting us on the going). Does anyone have any suggestions or comments? Should I just forget about the organization notion and just do community service without it? I want to use the organization as a means of reaching out to businesses in a proper manner, not some stranger who seems suspicious. Also, I always like being official.
