I'm in the class of 2009 and I'm wondering about starting college next summer before the fall semester begins. I'll be done with school before May when the summer session begins. I'm wondering if it's easier to get into college if you want to start in the summer rather then start in the fall. If it is or isn't, I'm still applying for the summer, I'm just wondering with people's experiences with doing it has been.

As far as big public colleges in Florida go (this is from the experience of my friends all of which went to one public college in Florida or another) yes, it is easier to get into the college if you applied for the Summer Term. A couple people I know who were denied regular admittance for the Fall Term actually reapplied but for the Summer Term and were accepted that way. I assume it is similar in other places, can't be sure though.
