Starting Sophomore Year

Hi all, I was wondering if anybody could help me out with this. I am finishing up my freshman year now and have begun to think about premed. All of my first year courses were in the humanities. Now that I only have three years left I know that I will have to double up on some science courses. But the problem is that I don't have much experience with science and would like to ease into it gradually- I was thinking about starting with biology and maybe a math for next semester. Would this be possible, or would I have to double up on chemistry and biology? Or could I double up on chemistry and physics down the road? Which would be easier? Thanks for the help!

The only issue that you might have with starting with just biology is that general chemistry is often a prerequisite for organic chemistry. You will need to know both for the MCAT along with biology and physics. Think about your planning carefully if you plan to take all of the required courses before the MCAT.
