It seems so long ago that legends like Zuckerberg and Gates graced the Harvard campus. During the last ten years of startup boom there has been no prominent startup that originated from Harvard. I am not interested in hearing anything about Stanford in this thread; please do not turn it into a Harvard vs Stanford debate. What I would like to know is that for kids with aspiration for entrepreneurship, especially in tech areas, should Harvard even be in the mix of top schools being considered? If you have insight on the startup culture at Harvard please share.
As for biomedical startups Cambridge is easily arguably THE place in the world.
Harvard Innovation Lab is a 24-hr/day campus geared toward linking undergrads, graduate students, graduates, lawyers and venture capitalists.
Along with the man-power to crank out prototypes,
I’m ambivalent about this, kids should become educated first before worrying about startups, but
