Does anyone know who is teaching Lecture 2 for Stat 10? There is no one listed.
Schedule of Classes: Class Listing

SUGANO, A.P. is now listed as the Lecture 2 prof.
Does anyone have any information about him/her? There's nothing on bruinwalk. Davis' lectures are filled and I don't want to take stats from Ioudina.

hey, so for stat 10 and stat 13, there are two discussions. i heard in one there is a lab activity/assignment, and in the other, we just go over homework. is the homework review one mandatory? and what day does the lab usually occur? (i.e., the first or second disucussion of the week?) actuallly, to be more specific, what day does the lab usually occur in Christou's classes?

i believe its mandatory in that you turn in your homework in section. plus my TA actually went over most of the problems for the homework assignments, so its basically free points for those problems.

labs are in the boelter 9th floor stats lab, so by looking at the registrar website, it looks like labs are on tuesdays.

^thanks. and there isn't much of a difference bwtn stat 10 and stat 13in terms of difficulty, right?

and about sugano -
Adam Sugano - University of California Los Angeles Extension - RateMyProfessors.com

apparently, he has a bad attitude, doesn't teach well (goes too fast, unclear), but grades on a very generous curve. one person said "The class is very hard."
reaalllly? most people who've taken stat 10 say that it's easy - just shows how bad of a professor he is.

as for me, the only reason i'm taking stat10 is to learn is to actually learn statistics for psych 100a; i've already satisfied my math requirement. so i think i'll pass.
