State Distributions?

I know there arent specific # of people penn accepts from each state but theres a general trend of how many from each state are accepted (for almost all colleges pretty sure). the majority of student accepted to penn would be from Pennsylvania obviously, but do any of you guys know how many people from Georgia got accepted ED and RD last year? Heard it’s not that high so I just want to know

Penn doesn’t post the acceptance rate by each state

I think Penn has the total number of admitted people from each state for 2021, not sure about 2022, but the rate was not given. I only have the pdf version now, so sadly I can’t post a link. For ga it shows 47 admitted in for 2021 in total. The others higher than ga are ca (236), tx (76), fl (118), il (68), ny (309), ma (73), ct (70), nj (230), md (85) and of course pa (373). There are also 392 international students from the class of 2021, close to 2022. States with data close to fa are oh (46) and va (43). The others left are basically 2x, 1x and x.

correction: the “fa” of the last line should be Georgia ga, these state contractions are so hard to type correctly ? hope there’s no other mistake above

Thanks for the info! How many were from Colorado?

https://admissions.upenn.edu/sites/default/files/2018-05/FallCounselorNewsletter_2017-2018.pdf Here y’all are. The map actually shows only the committed students and not admitted, so the totals per state are actually higher.

yes! that’s the pdf I was referring to
