According to posts #7 &10, Pitt uses a committee letter, so all applicants/acceptances listed had a committee letter.
In addition, there is no universally accepted definition of “pre-med” so there are no reliable numbers regarding how many started as pre-med as freshmen and then got committee letters junior year.
Can someone provide the stats for 2019 acceptance rate to medical schools from UPITT?

You should define what you are asking for. Are you asking for:
-% of students accepted to MD and DO schools in the US only?
-% of students accepted at any time…meaning those who applied senior year of college, as well as those X years after ug graduation? What are those relative acceptance rates?
-% of accepted students who did a post-bacc program? An SMP?
-% of accepted students who are re-applicants?
-% of students who asked for a committee letter and received one?
You get my drift. Getting accepted to med school is possible from any undergrad, it is more related to the applicant, than the school. Get a high gpa and high MCAT…there are no schools with easy As in med school required courses.
Schools will post all kinds of med school acceptance data…it is up to the student to research how those numbers are calculated. Ask these questions directly to pre-health advising staff at each of the schools you are interested in.
