status change for me! but...

<p>So today, as usual, I logged on to look at my status, and I finally saw this message..</p>

<p>"Undergraduate Application (Part II, Fall 2010)
Your application is being reviewed by the admission committee. We will mail notification of their decision by April 1. If for some reason you don't receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results over the phone beginning April 11th."</p>

<p>I'm happy that my status has changed, but I'm nervous about how long you have to wait to call them if you don't hear anything ! April 11th? That's so long to wait! Nevermind the fact that I'm going out to California on April 8th to look at colleges and I was hoping to know by then if I had gotten into USC..</p>

<p>I know that this status does not really mean anything at this point, but, just wondering..did eveyone's status change to "reviewed"?</p>

<p>yep… mine did too and (not to sound sooo pessimistic) but I’m assuming as the day goes fourth a lot of others will as well. I know its sunday and wouldn’t receive a DHL but I would need one to get in. I’m not banking on it meaning anything positive really :(</p>

<p>yea same…i’m figuring that every applicant’s status will change today, tomorrow, tuesday… i’ve pretty much accepted the fact that i’m probably rejected, but i would just like to know in writing!</p>

<p>my status did the exact same thing. but the link saying to “see status of specific documents or turn in missing items” or something like that, has also popped up under the link to submit midyear grades. did this happen to anyone else? is this a good thing?</p>

<p>review ----> forwarded 3/26----> review 3/28</p>

<p>ugh my status was forwarded (since february at LEAST) and only changed to this now. im so confused. </p>

<p>the link is there for everyone. it just means they’ve made a decision.</p>

<p>it’s basically 50/50 now whether you get accepted or rejected.</p>

<p>yeah, after months of being forwarded, my status changed this morning too, though I’m sure everyone’s changed this morning. Sigh, back door link still doens’t work for me, looks like I’ve been rejected … and USC is my first choice too :(</p>

<p>why the pessimism? I remember from reading previous posts that people that were a accepted changed from forwarded to reviewed. </p>

<p>I think that the people who have been forwarded for weeks or months and just got their status change today…are the rejects… sorry I believe I am one too. apologies for my pessimism.</p>
