<p>I've got a question though: With the presidential deadline being Oct 31, did GA Tech have to receive my transcript by then? On my status, it says that it was received on Nov 17.</p>

<p>GT doesn't require you to send a transcript. unless you're referring to the transcript on the application, then you might have been placed in the next round of applicants.</p>
<p>I mean my high school transcript that my guidance counselor sent in (not the one that you fill out yourself on the app).</p>

<p>Looks like I'm in the same boat too. I was sure to get something today, I got especially excited when the mailman put a large white package in the mailbox. But it was something my mom ordered from amazon...sigh</p>

<p>I have not received a deferral yet. I checked spam too. Hearing some of these amazing stats always makes me skeptical no matter what. Here are mine.</p>

ACT: 28, didnt submit it though
GPA: Approx. 93/100 (we use a scale where 100 in an AP/IB is a 5.875)
Essay: Could have possibly been better organized but it was "from the heart"
Rank: 19/230 (class had 373 freshman year)
Location: Hilton Head, South Carolina
HS: US News 200 something, but looking at rank it is very distributed</p>
