How long does it usually take for it to change to application commplete?
wanna find out soon-_-.

I called to verify that nothing was outstanding on D's application who had the in process label, because we had counselor office mailings not received by a couple of schools and they told me that her app was complete and in the process of being reviewed.

Call the admissions office they were very very nice and helpful!

Ok. now it says application Complete. About when should I get the decision?

i got in lol i got the acceptance letter!!

my status changed to app complete today as well...waiting on admissions status..lucky did u get an email or snail mail?

Does Application Complete indicate that they have sent a letter or just that they have finished processing the application?

idk i got the letter within like 2 days after it changed to application complete

wait u got accepted as a semi finalist? if u were selected as a semi finalist does that mean u get admissions to the university? i just heard i am a semifinalist btw pretty happy

Yep. There seems to be a bit of the slinky effect going on. PSP and Admissions are separate offices and while they probably work together internally, they do send out separate letters

guys, is this thread about acceptance or PS? Cause everyone is mixing it up?

My best friend goes to GT. They do not send acceptance emails. A large envelope with "you are a yellow jacket" comes in the mail.

When application status goes from in progress to complete, it takes only a day or two to get the envelope. Hers actually had an invitation in it to Honors.

my computer just did a who knows what! it is were a gt jacket i could probably figure it out!

Thank you for your post. Even though your application status says "Complete," that does not necessarily mean that you will receive an admissions decision before the end of December. The codes "in process" and "complete" are internal codes.

The majority of our decisions go out between mid-February to mid-March.

Thanks,

Nancy Estes

but my friend just was told that getting your acceptance this early usually means you were a possible PS or Honors consideration.

Carnut: Most of the original posters had applied before the Oct 31 deadline for PSP. For example, D got her PSP packet two weeks before she received the You are a Yellow Jacket. Her packet did include the Honors Program invitation card, but D thought it was a standard part of the acceptance package. She gets these routinely and thought everyone gets invited to apply to honors. Is she wrong in this case?

it is probably like the psp. if you applied prior or on Oct. 31, you are considered for either program. there is not a separate application for either unless you are notified as a contender.

Go and look through stats of the admitted. If someone, for whatever reason, is not a candidate for the Presidential, but still has Ivy League execellent (sp?) scores and grades, they will be admitted early.

i got application complete on mine, i don't know when i last looked... i just looked today? what does it mean, i got in or got rejected? which?

Unless there is a letter in the mail, it means they are still "thinking" about it.

usually get your packet (or i guess letter if you are denied) a day or two later. they must consider complete to mean the letter has been sent cause everyone here go notified within a day or two of the change from in process to complete
