Guardiangel, you have a good start and the tips you have right there are good ones!

hmm i think transitioning from any CC to UCLA would be easier
seriously there is a huge culture shock
i mean like... my profs are funny and everything
but they say stuff like - u know in berkeley its almost illegal not to smoke weed
yeh that kinda stuff and - 48 couples got married from my summer session last year... only 2 were heterosexual

iono back in LA everyone seems not to talk about that kinda stuff especially in an academic institution lol
then another prof will teach us proper usage of the word fu ck
yup thats effective biz communication

but honestly i can't complain. it keeps me awake in class and its pretty darn hilarious

hahahhahaa, where do you get those "interesting" information. Wow, I never know about those kinds of stuffs regarding UC Berkeley but aren't you attending UC Berkeley for Haas?

yeh haas
we gotta take 2 classes
ethics and biz communication
so the ethics prof sprouts weird stuff LOL
the biz com prof's weird stuff actually relates to things we can use. hes the smartest guy i know. like seriously he knows everything. almost

"At this economic state, the school name doesn't even matter much but I bet Haas certainly give the students some advantages."

This statement isn't true for most Business fields. Depending upon what division in Business you are pursuing, Investment Banking for example, school name SIGNIFICANTLY helps.

That would apply to only the top 10 or 20. Other than that, it wouldn't matter much. I'm in the job hunting right now and I learn this from networking with other people especially the ones who are currently working in the business field.
