staying 4+ years to study multiple majors?

Okay, so are students allowed to stay say... X amount of years to receive Y amount of majors? or does MIT kick you out after you've received 2-3 majors? there are a bunch of majors that seem realllly interesting, and I don't think I would mind staying a few more years at place like MIT :]

You can only get two degree from MIT (specifically you can double major and get two minors, but after that none can be awarded). Furthermore, once you finish one degree's requirements and your MIT requirements they graduate you and kick you out, so you can't just stay for fun and try to get more majors.

But you can take classes in any department you'd like while you're at MIT -- the only limit is the number of classes you would like to take per semester. Each major is designed to fit comfortably into four years of taking four classes each semester, but if you'd like to take more (and if you'll come in with credit for some of the GIRs), you can take a bunch of classes outside your major(s) and get psyched.

I'm taking intro to pharmacology on P/F.

BCS and chemistry are interesting, and something I'd love to learn more about, but not something I want to dedicate my life to. You'll find plenty of options like this. :)
