Staying fresh after gym class

Sup

So I'm starting soph year next year, and the thing that I'd like to improve on, is not smelling after gym class.

We do have a PE uniform, so I'm not wearing what I wore when I was in the physical activity. Nonetheless, it seems after I change back into my regular clothes I still feel sweaty. Obviously no has come up to me and actually told me I smell, nor can I smell it myself, but i still have that feeling of uncleanliness after gym.

Any ideas? should I just get Axe spray?

PS: I do wear deodorant+perfume before gym class.

axe spray? i’m assuming you’re a girl if you have perfume,so no axe. axe is bad enough as it is on guys.

i would suggest body spray from like bath and body works, not perfume. perfume mixed with supposed sweat, even if it doesn’t actually smell, never ends up good ): or your can febreeze yourself XD

oops meant to say Cologne, I’m a guy lol.

LOL oh well. guys have it worse because axe smells bad sometimes. then again it’s much better than cologne because the same thing applies as perfume lol

Okie  thanks, I’ll get that body spray today.

Actually…I would avoid using body spray unless you have to…
It dosn’t really mask the odor…just mixes in. I suggest maybe you rinse your face after class, i’ve seen people do that before, I don’t think you’de look weird doing it. Or maybe bring face wipes? It seems like for me at least that usually helps me feel clean(er)

The common solution is just to not try at all in gym. It’s looked down upon to try, at least at my former HS. If you try, you’re a “loser who doesn’t care about their appearance.”

Or take a shower? Or wipe down your sweat afterwards by bringing a towel?

Body spray is bad.

Never use any perfumes or cologne when you’re sweaty or smelly, especially stronger ones. It’ll mix with the sweat and stench and create an even WORSE smell.

If you say you don’t smell, reapply deodorant and bring a small towel to wipe away the sweat. You could do what I did and never work hard enough to sweat. And I feel sorry for you having to wear a PE uniform. Thank God I never had to wear one.

Most of the stank comes from people who don’t wash their hair often enough, do not shower + deodorize adequately everyday, and don’t wash their groddy jeans. Putting on more Axe and the like just intensifies the skunkiness. Sadly, more often than not, these are people who don’t take PE.

Antiperspirant before, wipe off your sweat with your PE clothes, apply antiperspirant again, take your PE clothes home and wash them. Keep an extra pair of white shirt in your PE locker too.

That was what I did during my year of PE.

I use antiperspirant and a huge dose of baby powder before and after. It sucks up the nastiness.

Baby powder? Never seen that before. Straight up AXE Clix body spray all over, wash face, usually does the trick for me.

Got the baby powder thing from my dad. It works like a charm. Funk plus colognes and spray don’t tend to mesh well together.

My mom uses it when it’s hot. Baby powder keeps you smelling fresh when you start to sweat, although you still need deodorant.

Wipe yourself down and then use Old Spice deoderant. That should work lol.

I take a shower and it seems to do the trick

“The common solution is just to not try at all in gym. It’s looked down upon to try, at least at my former HS. If you try, you’re a 'loser who doesn’t care about their appearance.;”

LOL that’s true at my high school, too. Even though our PE teacher is pretty hardcore and makes you work for an A, most people are too insecure to let other people see them actually try. There’s this one guy who gets first place in every single run and tries his best in everything, and people just destroy him

My school seriously doesn’t have showers or if they do, I have no idea where they are and I guess nobody else in my gym class does either.

tikiman, at my school, it’s the exact opposite. Everything’s a competition. Excercising, running, basketball, volleyball. People would get angry if you made them lose a game. After class, practically all the guys except me would have sweat all over themselves.
