<p>I usually work to about 12:30-1AM and then I take a shower, which keeps me going for another couple of hours. Make sure to include the radio. I have found that it will slightly lower my per hour productivity, but it can usually give me an extra hour and a half.</p>

<p>Arizona Green Tea w/ Ginseng & Honey to the sound of Techno and bright lights (help fight sleepiness). Then, half an hour before bed, I get a glass of warm milk to increase my melatonin so I can be tired by the time I want to be. </p>
<p>Sometimes, depending on the weather, I also go outside and do some walking. </p>
<p>Since I have zero period, it's very hard for me to get up earlier. I used to get up to finish work and study, until I took Chamber Ensemble o.O</p>

<p>agree on the radio part too, listen to music or talk radio, news , sports, or audiobooks will help you stay up longer</p>
<p>I apologize if this sounds snarky, but if you need to stay up rather late (>1 or 2 AM) multiple times during the week, on average, to do work, you either:</p>
<p>a) need to learn how to better manage your time (and yes, doing that Calc homework during lunch counts as time management).</p>
<p>and/or</p>
<p>b) are taking on too much. Too many classes, or too many time-consuming ECs.</p>
<p>Either way, you shouldn't have to stay up past 2 AM just to do work more than, maximum, once a week. It's not healthy to begin with, and the more you do it the worse off you'll be.</p>
<p>^I think lots of people [including myself] stay up really late because they adore procrastination and would rather have fun or hang out during the day instead of work on homework the whole time. Then, well, it's just not that big of a deal to stay up THAT late, so you might as well miss out on sleep instead of fun.</p>
<p>I usually set mini goals for myself to do xyz tonight and then wake up early and do abc in the morning. (word of advice: leave EASY, non-time consuming work for the morning).</p>
<p>Id go with the red bull too or just take a cold shower whenever you start feeling sleepy. I have heard about gum helping you to stay awake but I havent tried it. You could give any of these ideas a try and tell me how it goes. But if neither of these work you can reward yourslef by knowing that if you go to bed youre failing the class and therefore messing op your future.</p>
<p>What kind of work do you guys have to stay up so late?? I mean i goof off alot when i come back from school, and i still have enough time to finish my work. Stayin up until 3 and waking up at 5 or 6 will really hurt you in the long run. Personally, i can barely concentrate in school if I get 6 hours or less.</p>
