So, I live in a dorm with three other girls. I absolutely LOVE two of them but this one girl, she’s just rude, weird, and a know-it-all, slob. Recently, she told me I was fat and when I confronted her, she said she never said that. She also steals the other girls’ food and has recently crushed one of the other girls pairs of RayBans. NOW, my prescription eye glasses are gone. They were on the table Friday before I left to go home. I figured since she was going home too, that I could leave mine. Hell no. She apparently didn’t go home. I came back today to find that they’re missing. I just called her and asked if she had seen them and she got very, VERY defensive. I don’t respect thieves and if I find out that this girl has been stealing everything in here, it’s not going to be funny.
The reason I don’t think it would be the other two is because they’re having stuff going missing and since day 1, this girl hasn’t liked any of us because we go out and party and have fun while she sits at home, despite us inviting her. It’s ridiculous to steal people’s items and I better have my glasses back soon and if they’re damaged in ANYWAY, she will be paying for my replacement.

One summer I was sure that either a roommate or our landlord had stolen my favorite shorts. The landlady had mentioned having a garage sale, and I was so sure that she was going to sell my shorts. So I even went to her sale.
But a couple of weeks later I found my shorts under my bed.
Did you ask the other two anyway? Maybe one will be like, “Oh yeah, they were completely in the way so I moved them to the desk.”
I hope she isn’t Ginger.
It’s an odd story. Odd that you would go home without your prescription eyeglasses, odd that you would leave them out, and odd that anyone would want them.
If this is just a summer semester, just get through the next few weeks, keep an eye on your stuff, and move on. Good luck to you.
