Steep drop in law school applications

<p>Students are finally responding to the fact that the job market for young lawyers has tightened considerably as application numbers continue to drop dramatically. For anyone considering law school as an option, don't view this statistic solely as encouragement to apply because the competitive pool is smaller. I believe that for the next 5+ years there will continue to be more seats in US law schools than there are good jobs for new lawyers. </p>
