Stellar EC's but low GPA, grad school chances? (neuroscience masters)

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read/comment!

I graduated from UCI with a psychology degree. My cumulative GPA is a 3.0, and not sure about my major GPA since they don’t calculate that out at my school (I’d assume pretty high though). I was actually a double major and took every possible bio and psych related neuro course that was offered and did well. So hopefully the grad school will take notice of that…let’s hope.

GRE: scored in the top 10%

ECs:
-1 year of undergrad research experience in Public Health department
-one co-publishing in science journal
-worked as an fMRI operator for UC Berkeley for about 6 months
-post-grad research experience for neuroscience/clinical psychology department ~8 months
-1 year UCI hospital volunteer work
-worked as a medical scribe under a neurologist for a year

LOR: very good

I am hoping to get into a clinical neuroscience masters program. I’m hoping that my scribe work and red letter from the neurologist that I worked under would be good enough. Any suggestions that could make me a better candidate since my GPA is so low?? I haven’t decided to which schools to apply to yet, but most likely ones that are in the middle-tier.

Greatly appreciate your responses!
