<p>Hey dtakeda92! Just wanted to respond to your question–I’m an accounting major myself, but I just wanted to share some general information about recruiting in Cox with you. </p>
<p>SMU itself has a general career center, the Heigi Family Career Center–that is available to the entire SMU community, however Cox has its own career center that assists students with job and internship searches and placement directly related to the business world. </p>
<p>Also because SMU is in Dallas, we have access to a lot of Fortune 500 companies who actually come TO campus to recruit and interview, and this includes everything from big firms to smaller firms. All in all there is a lot of opportunity here. </p>
