honestly youre chances stand fairly well. The quants stay within competitive range + your stance as a white male with no fin aid will work in your favor.
If applying ED, I’d be surprised to hear a rejection.
This may be stupid but what’s the dress code like if it is existent? Do students come to class in a full blown suit? Or is it business casual like khakis and a button down? Or can I just wear normal everyday clothes like jeans hahah. I’ll be a freshman next year!
First off @businessguy12 , congrats! There isn’t a dress code, Stern is just like any other college. I have gone to classes in a suit, my gym clothes, my pajamas on a day that I wake up late. FYI you will see a lot of Junior and Seniors in suits particularly during recruiting season or if someone is interning part-time.
Hi everyone! I am an Asian female and atm I am trying to decide if I should apply to NYU Stern at all. I know I have a below average academic record, but since I can pay the complete cost of attendance (and I have heard it makes a big difference at NYU, not sure how far it’s true though) so I thought why not apply and see what happens.
I have a 1940 SAT (will probably not submit), AAB in GCE A Levels, a paid marketing internship and tons of other ECs, strong essay and good recommendations.
So, is there any hope for me?
