stern microeconomics

So i was reading that to get into microeconomics you have to have a certain AP Calc score? is that right? and what if I don't have that cutoff score, what happens, and do i get to take micro?

If you want to take micro in the fall, you have to have done well enough on AP Calc so that you can take Micro and a higher-level Calc simultaneously.

If you didn’t have the AP score (as I didn’t), you simply take Calc I in the fall with three other courses, then micro in the spring with three other courses. You will definitely ‘get’ to take micro, because it’s an absolute requirement for graduation. Besides, if you don’t take it within your first three semesters, you’re pretty much completely screwing your schedule for upperclassmen years because it’s a prerequisite for so many classes which are prerequisites for others.
