So far, I've been accepted to Stern, Berkeley and UCLA. Waiting on Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Cornell. Assuming I don't make a single Ivy, which school is better-regarded, Berkeley (BS Econ) or Stern (Finance/Int'l Biz)?

Depends on where you want to work. Stern is well regarded on the East Coast, and Berkeley has a more international reputation. People on the East Coast should prefer Stern more, while West Coast/Asia (if you consider that) will regard Berkeley as higher.

Reputation in Asia is a big deal for me as I have family business connections in China and would love to make use of them, especially if it meant I got to work with my dad. I didn’t realize Berkeley had a superior international reputation - thanks for your input!

I would agree that within the country or in hte business world of europe stern would be better, however for europe, they would pretty much be equal.

Just curious if you are interested in business why would you apply to four ivies none of which are Penn for their Wharton School?

Wanted to go into business but unwilling to live in Philly ;D I chose schools with a strong idea of the kind of living situations and student cultures I’d be comfortable with.
